This notice explains what personal data is processed on denizaltiokerduran.com.tr, cv.denizaltiokerduran.com.tr and portfolio.denizaltiokerduran.com.tr, why, and how, under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

Server Logs

When you visit one of the sites, the server records your IP address, browser details, the page you opened and the time of the visit. These logs are used to keep the sites secure and to count visitors, and they are deleted automatically after 90 days (KVKK Art. 5/2-f, legitimate interest).

Paper Assistant (PaperBot)

Questions you type into the paper assistant on cv.denizaltiokerduran.com.tr, together with the earlier messages in the same chat, are sent to OpenAI (USA) to generate an answer. These messages are not stored on our server; OpenAI processes them under its own API policies. To protect the assistant from abuse, the number of questions from one IP address in a short time and the length of each question are limited. Please do not include personal information in your questions.

If you send an email, your name, email address and message are used only to reply to you.

Cookies and External Links

These sites use no cookies and do not track visitors; fonts and other files are loaded from the sites’ own server. When you follow a link to LinkedIn, Instagram or another site, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Transfers Abroad

The sites’ server is in a data centre in the European Union and OpenAI’s servers are in the USA, so server logs and messages typed into the paper assistant are transferred outside Turkey.

Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, learn which third parties in Turkey or abroad it has been shared with, object, and claim compensation for damage.
